I obtained an honours degree in Optometry at the City University in London in 1971 and after finishing my pre-registration year gained my professional qualifications. I practised in partnership for many years and have been a sole practitioner for the last 15 years. I have a special interest in contact lenses in general and in Orthokeratology in particular. I was a founder member of BOKS, the British Orthokeratology Society, and I am the present treasurer and an accredited Member. I like to think that I practice to old fashioned values. I am slow, inefficient, expensive and rude. However, if you need a specialised prescription or contact lens, then I will do my best to achieve the required result. As well as supplying all the common disposable contact lenses I also fit lenses for Orthokeratology, Astigmatism [Toric Lenses] and lenses for Keratoconus. I have great experience in geriatric and paediatric optometry and as well as visiting nursing and old age homes, I am the visiting optometrist at a number of schools. |
